ASP.NET_SessionId is a session cookie that is automatically used by SinterCast.se so that the website can work as intended. During the time you visit and surf on our website, this session cookie is temporarily saved to your computer’s memory, for example to keep track of the choices you make on the site. This session cookie automatically disappears when you close your browser.

Analytical tools for web statistics


SinterCast also uses Google Analytics to gather information about the way in which visitors use our website and to evaluate how the website can be further developed. We use information from Google Analytics primarily to be able to improve content, navigation and the architecture of the website.

The following cookies are used by SinterCast.com as a result of its use of Google Analytics:

  • _utmb is used to determine the duration and number of page viewings on the website and is saved for 30 minutes after being created or the most recent update;
  • _utmz is used to keep track of how visitors found their way to the website and is saved for six months;
  • _utma is used to identify unique visitors and is saved for two years.

Information created by these cookies through use of the website (including your IP address) is forwarded to Google and stored by them on servers in the USA. Google is the sole data controller for any personal data processing carried out by Google. Google can also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or in the event a third party processes information on behalf of Google. If you do not want your visit to the SinterCast website to appear in Google Analytics’ statistics, you can install an opt-out add-on to your browser.
